Garden Stewards, LLC was started in 2004 by Kay and Bernie McInnes. 

Kay is a Master Gardener, Landscape Design Consultant and is certified in Garden Design. 

Bernie has over 30 years of experience in growing plants, pruning and shaping of trees and shrubs.  He is currently growing over 200 varieties of Iris to show.  Bernie also enters the Floral Design Competition at the Mio Iris Show in June.
   
Bernie and Kay continue their gardening education through classes, workshops and conferences.

Kay is a member of Seedums Garden Club,  Stepping Stones Garden Club, Mio Irisarians and Emmet Co. Master Gardeners

Bernie is a member of Stepping Stones Garden Club and Mio Irisarians

They are both members of the Iris Society and the Association of Professional Gardeners,

Indian River and Cheboygan Chambers of Commerce
